Theodora Chandris has long had an appreciation for the beauty of artisan-made products. Theodora’s background in design has given her the understanding of intricacies and the dedicated know-how it takes to create something beautiful with lasting value.

When Theodora moved her son from a cot to his first bed, she was disappointed by the bedding she found offer. She wanted to invest in bedding that was made to last and be handed down generations like linens of the past.

Design is often disappointment’s elixir, and Maison T is no exception. Theodora set out to find and work with a family-run Atelier just outside Florence that made a printed pillowcase gifted to her by her mother over thirty years ago to create a range of children’s bedding made in the highest quality, four hundred thread count cotton percale, each piece is delicately made by hand. Printed in her charming, ebullient designs which are that rarest treasure, they are appreciated by children and adults in equal measure.

She wanted the softest cotton to cushion this big transition in her small person’s life and beautiful, playful patterns to pique his imagination, set sail his dreams and crucially keep him in his bed whilst complimenting her home interiors.

“I’ve always had fun with my bed linen, making my bed my own,” says Theodora, “I hope your little people will too and most of all, feel the love they are made with”.
